Boardmate app

Overview

Boardmate is the result of a year-long project created during my time at the Hollóka Graphic Design Institute. Essentially, it is a friend and venue-finding app for board game enthusiasts, designed to help organize game nights and connect with others in the subculture - potentially even finding a partner.

Approach

For that purpose, the app and website include specific features to signal when both parties are open to getting to know each other. Its development was supported by a thorough UX design process and focus group research. Conceptually, I aimed to give it a magical yet elegant style, enriched with a variety of interesting illustrations.
